All chests follow the same rule: they can sort any card from any castle up to the one you are currently in.

This applies to all chests, be them purchased through Special Offers, with in-game currencies, or the Free and Victory Chests. Keep in mind that the castle you are in doesn't define the castle the cards will be from.
